Ford Government Offers Millennials The Chance To Buy NFT Homes

Queen’s Park - The seemingly in achievable goal of being born after 1987 and owning a home in Ontario might have just gotten a little easier, at least in the digital space.

As part of the affordable housing summit, the Ford government has announced their plan to release a series of non-fungible tokens featuring cool animations of houses sold exclusively to young residents of the province. You won’t be able to live in the houses, but it’s the closest thing to home ownership you’ll probably ever get to. Well, sort of.

“So, technically you don’t actually ‘own’ the homes,” explained Premier Ford, “But you own a digital receipt on a block chain, so that’s pretty cool. It’s not like you own anything else.”

The first round of NFTs went on sale this morning and oh no that guy from your high school who went to Rotman just sold all his Ethereum at a 700% profit and bought them all. Better luck next time pal.
